The Application of a Team-Building Program for Team Match in the National Archery Team

PURPOSE This study aimed to apply a team-building program for preparing the national archery team competition in Olympics. METHODS To achieve purpose of this study, six archers (three men and three women) were included. The was applied total 6 sessions (one session per week). Group cohesion efficacy measured times before, after, at later application program. collected data analyzed with Friedman Wilcoxon signed-rank tests, which are nonparametric statistical techniques analysis. In addition, an in-depth interview qualitative conducted each archer explore effects changes resulting from participation RESULTS results as follows: first, levels increased after implementation compared those pre-implementation state. Furthermore, high maintained follow-up measurement. Second, recognized that closeness faith one another more between members. there positive communication, atmosphere, cohesion, during matches. CONCLUSIONS found have effect on various factors related such communication atmosphere.
